

The climbing period in the region extends from June-August when most of the rest of the Himalaya remains inaccessible due to the monsoon. Easy accessibility by road and the shortest possible approach march to reach base camp makes Nun one of the most attractive mountaineering destinations in the Western Himalaya. Climbing this peak is a great chance to get high altitude climbing experience on a classic expedition. Nun Peak is located in the remote landscape of the Zanskar ranges in northern India and is the highest mountain in the region.
